To reach the refuge: the itinerary follows the trail of Alta via n.1 from Saint Rhemy en Bosses.
An alternative it's to reach by car Arp du Jeu, at a depth of 2002 m, where there is the arrival station of the first section of the chair lift of Crevacol.
From here walk to west along a dirt road which rises to the mountain pasture Tza de Merdeux, at a depth of 2273 m.
From the mountain pasture carry on the path Alta via n.1 and in less than an hour you reach the Refuge.
